Seatlle

Post by seeabove » Tue Feb 15, 2005 10:08 pm

I'm going to be up in Seattle on business next week. Any good shows I should check out up there? I'll be staying at the Westin, wherever that is.
I get satisfaction of three kinds. One is creating something, one is being paid for it and one is the feeling that I haven?t just been sitting on my ass all afternoon.

WEEEEELLLL funny you should mention good shows!

My band is Velella Velella, we're playing at 9, and we sound like more hip-hoppy Stereolab. LIve vibes and analog synth and programmed drums etc.

If you come out we'll give you a CD or T-shirt or something and buy you a drink!

I'm there. I'll drag my coworkers out too.

I'm almost sure such jokes are still obligatory. Certainly no memo has reached me to suggest otherwise. Please continue until further notice.

OK... so...

I hear Walnut went to Seattle? How did that go? Did he ever settle? Did Mr. Attle finally get his man?

Seeabove, perhaps you could give us a report when you get there. Try to be thorough, this issue has plagued this board for quite some time.

This is one of the better music calendars in town:

I would definitely recommend the 25th's show at the Sunset if you'll still be around. The Stares are amazing.

Dude, and you can catch Ashlee Simpson. How cool is that?

Wait, is seeabove going to be in Seattle, or in Seatlle? Because that might have been what caused Walnut such problems. I thought that's what the whole mystery was -- he thought he was going to Seattle but took the wrong exit and wound up in Seatlle, yo.

Yeah, it's possible that they aren't even in the same place. And certainly going to see attle is a lot different than going to see atlle. For all we know they are both in Seatel.
