what's that one led zep song...

Post by wing » Fri Oct 10, 2003 1:33 am

that has something about stoplights in the chorus? something about turning red? i'm not talking about trampled underfoot though that song is about a car... i forgot what this song is called. but it's really really good... really awesome beat and at the end it speeds up double time all crazy and ends with a bang. what a classic.

if only i could remember what it was...

Are you talking about "Stairway to Heaven"? Have you ever heard that song? It's good.

not really a chorus in that song. That stare-whey song, i mean.

Hom Many more times, perhaps? that goes wilder at the end.
The Ocean follows the good beat/busy ending theme.
Fool in the Rain too

Gallow's Pole does that tempo speed up, but I don't think there are any stoplight lyrics...

Black Dog has a lyric that goes "eyes shining, burning red".

Just don't know.

"the sea was red and the sky was grey", tomorrow, today, etc, but no stoplights or great beats in this song, either.

I just scanned through Zeppelins lyrics....lost of sunlight references, but not much in the way of stoplights...not even in Trampled under foot.

Are you SURE this is Zeppelin? And not, say, The Police?

(i know, insulting to insinuate)

"The sea was red and the sky was grey
Wonder how tomorrow could ever follow today?"

...is "Goin' to California," from Zep 4 (Untitled, ZOSO, whatever the fuck).

Trampled Underfoot

Greasy slicked down body, groovy leather trim.
I like the way you hold the road, mama, it ain't no sin.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

Trouble-free transmission, helps your oil's flow.
Mama, let me pump your gas, mama, let me do it all.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

Dig that heavy metal underneath your hood.
Baby, I could work all night, believe I've got the perfect tools.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

A model built for comfort, really built with style.
Specialist tradition, mama, let me feast my eyes.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

Factory air-conditioned, heat begins to rise. Guaranteed to run for hours, mama it's a perfect size.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

Grooving on the freeway, gauge is on the red.
Gun down on my gasoline, I believe I'm gonna crack a head.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.
I can't stop talking about. I can't stop talking about?

Come to me for service every hundred miles. Baby, let me check your points, fix your overdrive.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

Fully automatic, comes in any size. Makes me wonder what I did, before we synchronized.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

Feather-light suspension, coils just couldn't hold.
I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors.
Talking 'bout love, talking 'bout love. Talking 'bout.

I can't stop talking about. I can't stop talking about
