I am glad to report that Lyle Chaffe is doing well. He has moved on to playing at retirement homes. I keep in touch with him ever since I met him playing the oldies at Henry Fords. It is too bad it went under.

When you are here, make sure to check out the Mississippi Record shop (both old records and old recording gear!) and Trade Up Music. R5D3 is a great experience, but you have to really want to find it. I have picked up many old mics there and a friend got a Pultec EQ for $30!!! Bob, the owner, is really grumpy so don't chat with him. You won't get very far if you do.
