It drizzled in Austin today. About the third time since november that liquid has been seen falling from the sky.
I miss living in Eugene OR! Forecast: dark and drizzly, with a pint of amber.

Weather report for Portland on Thursday- about an inch of ice on top of snow. Still below freezing but is supposed to warm up soon. This is the nastiest weather I've every experienced. Airport is closed until at least 5:00am tomorrow.

We had tons of trees fall. Fortunately none hit the house. Spent about two hours chainsawing yesterday so our neighborhood could get to the main road. Power's been out since 12:30am Wed. We're on a community well, so no power and no water. Fun. Bought a generator yesterday so we can run the fridge, blower on the gas heat stove and have a light to read by.
So, no studio at all for me.

hahah oh yeah, that smell... whenever it rains all day and night, or now that the snow is melting... the walls of my place leak, makes it pretty mushy in there, and that smell, mixed in with cigarette ash, spilt beer, i burn a lot of incence while down there. We try to replace the carpet once a year, since we've had no luck repairing the wall and no way the landlords will do anything about it, scumbags... keep in mind this is more of a rehearsal space rather than a studio. I just keep my protools rig set up and ready to go for doing demos or low budget stuff, i.e. my friends for free.Shawn1272 wrote: And now my studio has that sweet smell of mildew. Sniff sniff, ahhhh.
Just thought I'd share my tales of whoa! and maybe get a little sympathy.
