Garden State, beautiful. Oh, but no renty.

Um... "13 Going on 30" is rewarding in ways I cannot myself explain, but to say (a) the night I watched it, I was putting the "lot" into "merlot" and (b) sentimental timetravelling is a weak spot in my cold, cynical, detached heart.

Also, you should see "Goodbye Lenin." Great movie about a DDR woman who happens to be in a coma when the wall comes down. When she wakes up, she's pretty fragile, and the lengths to which her son goes in order to pretend nothing has changed brings copious hilarity and mirth. And I wasn't drunk for that one, so...

I wouldn't exactly call that one "lighthearted" but it's an excellent film, nonetheless.

I saw a documentary called "Tribute" about a Judas Priest, a Kiss, and a Monkey's tribute band. It was a must see for anyone who's ever tried to get in a band (and pretty funny, too). :D

Ha ha - sweet, thanks guys. I ended up getting "Love Actually" which is a tolerable romantic comedy (the first 10 minutes have some squirm-inducin moments) - good if you're watching with a Special Lady.

I'll make note of these for next time. Tnx
