Guitar Rig Brag Photos/Lists

Post by ottokbre » Fri Nov 05, 2004 1:20 pm

I am back to being a guitar geek again. Kinda rediscovering how much fun a pile of pedels can be and so on. So, yeah, I don't have a pic just yet, but post yours. :D

These are my two main guitars. The green one is all maple (except for the finger board), with a chambered body, two dimarzio HBs, and a Bigsby. The purple one is a baritone tone guitar with a left handed tele bridge, alder body and more switches than I really need...

They go through an electro-harmonix bassballs, eh octave multiplexer, boss distortion and then the secret weapon...
Image
a modified bartolini bass preamp that drives the front end of my Sovtek very nicely.

These days, I usually just plug a $99 dano into a $60 dano with a $5 no-name cable.

But every once in a while, I'll pull out one of these Boss pedals:

AC-2, AW-2, BD-2, BF-2, CE-3, CS-2, DD-2, DF-2, DM-2, DM-3, DS-1, EH-2, FZ-3, GE-7, LMB-3, OC-2, OD-1, PH-1R, PS-2, SD-1, TR-2, TW-2.

I agree about the peas.

I'm so embarrassed. I'm down to Strat > Tonelab. All my pedals are in my keyboard rig now.

I decided a long time ago that in addition to collecting recording gear, I'd amass a collection of amps, guitars, and pedals for clients in addition to me playing them out. Soooooo.....

Guitars:
Robin Les G (prototype, never in production)
Hagstrom Swede
1981 Fender USA Bullet
1972 Gibson SG
1979 Greco ES175 copy
Reckenbueller (Rick 330 copy)
Danelectro U2
1982 Guild D40 (with B-band pickup)
1970's Lyle classical with solid cedar top

Bass:
1976 Ibanez J
1978 Fender P
1989 Ibanez Roadstar

Amps:
1977 Marshall JMP
Sovtek Mig 100
1978 Fender Twin
Epiphone Futura
Ampeg SVT (a real 70's one)
Sunn Coliseum
Harmony tube practice amp
Excelsior (made by ampeg with mullard tubes)

Cabs:
1970's Ampeg SVT 8x10"
Sunn 2x15" with Eminence Delta's
Marshall 800 4x12"
Epiphone 1x15"
Marsall 2x12" (60's basket weave)
Excelsior 2x12"

Pedals:
Cesar Diaz Tremodillo
EH Holy Grail
EH Pulsar
Ross Phasor Distortion
Boss DD-5
Boss Harmonist
Boss Super Feedbacker Distortion
Green Russian Big Muff
A few custom pedals from my friend Joe called Le Opto Phase and The Cracked Whore
Ibanez Tube Screamer
DOD Buzz Box
Boss TU-2
Marshall Edward Compressor
Roland Space Echo (with footswitch)

It's amazing how you don't even realize how much gear you have until you list it sometimes. I think I'm going to be selling a fair amount of this stuff when I get my Pro Tools HD system.

I dont have a lot of stuff, but it works, i have no pics but here it goes:

Epiphone lespaul

Boss pedal tuner
vox wah-wah
pro-co rat2
arion tubulator
Boss ds-1
boss phaser
crappy ibanez chorus pedal which is pretty cool

then to one of my amps, usually a fender champion 30 or 110, which ever one is closer to the car on sunday mornings

My bass rig is rather simple,

Peavey Milestone 3 into a dbx 166xl into my peavey minx 110 bass amp

Its not much to brag about, but i love to play.
