Tracking Headphones
I need a new pair of tracking headphones with importance in the following order:
Isolation (sound bleeding OUT of the headphones)
Quality
Comfort
Fatigue
Price
Looking at Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, Ultrasone (model?), and Bose QuietComfort 2.
Any others to consider?

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro
I have them. I love them. The Isolation on these suckers is amazing and the sound is good as well. I like big headphones so the bulkiness feels comfortable to me.

Re: Tracking Headphones
I use MoreMe headphones, 20 bucks and they do the job. They sound like shit but hey, they work for me.
Re: Tracking Headphones
I use the Audio Technica ATH-40 when tracking, kind of trebly but they cut through well when tracking in loud situations, phones sit tight on the head and swivel as well, I got mine for around 60.

I'm a Sony 7506 guy. Not the super greatest for isolation/bleed, but very accurate and reliable. Never on sale, tho, always $99 whereever you look. Bastards.

I have a pair of Ultraphones and love them. If they weren't $220 a pair I'd buy 10 of them.

Re: Tracking Headphones
I really like the Direct Sound "extreme isolation" headphones - they do not sound as good as my 7506s, but they sure as hell isolate. Probably about 20-25dB in most cases, which makes it entirely possible to play drums without destroying your hearing by cranking the headphones up to an unreasonable level.
