Sound Editing in OS X

Post by Girl Toes » Tue Jan 11, 2005 11:00 pm

I'm yet to find a decent sound editor for OS X. I am putting a LOT of records on to the computer, and want to record and cut out any lead in. I am still using Sound Edit 16, a classic app. Any recommendations?

I second Peak. It's still taken me a while to learn, but it can do some great stuff for 2-track cassette-type imports.

I'm digging DSP-Quattro quite a bit lately - the new 2.0 version adds even more cool stuff.

The price is right, too - $149
