These past two days have been unrelentingly awful. Everybody's giving me guff.

I am hoping I can at least get a few songs out it, and maybe some sweet grey hair.

Absolutely. Yeah, fuck... Need to take more St. Johns Wort or something.

Hang in there, comrades.

Yes, but I get home Sunday. Otherwise I'd have to go buy another bottle of Sriracha hot sauce. That stuff is the only thing keeping me sane these days.

yeah for real the winds of change are blowing huge. but for me it hasn't been that bad. decided to get out of audio recording as a profession since my current job has me not even recording music when i am recording (voice overs) and i'm not maknig enough money to get out of debt. my fiancee and i decided to leave new york and move back to eastern mass, where she is from and where a lot of our mutual friends live. i'm going to get an IT job and start making more money, save up and buy a house and some recording gear, re-connect with an old songwriting buddy, do some freelance music recording, pop out some kids in a few years... good times.

Oh yeah. Sing it. This is bad time, yes.

Flat broke after paying insurance to stay in business. Still figuring this one out.

Truck breaks down. No huge big deal, only a few hundred dollars, happens all the time.

Wife breaks down. Not cool. Back problems. Lots of pain, keeps me busy taking care of her.

I break down, but just a little bit at a time, every day. I can keep this up for years, man.

I'll run out of firewood next cold snap. That'll put in me in a good mood.

Slow and brooding in E minor....

I hate to sound like a crybaby pussy, but ever since the elections, things have gone straight downhill for me. Anyone else experience this? I'm not sure if it's realizing that I not only have nothing in common with over 50% of the population, or more likely realizing that I have outright CONTEMPT for half the population. After putting your heart and soul into something that you believe so deeply in and then seeing it washed away by a bunch of pickup truck driving, toby keith listening, racist, scared, idiots is ultra demoralizing. Seriously since nov. 2 I've lost my girlfriend, been more broke than usual, been sick a lot, started hating my job, etc etc etc.

Somebody pass the st. john's wort........

I just flipped my insides out a couple hours ago... does that count? "Hello dinner, so nice to see you again..." I leave for work in 20 minutes and still feel like shit.

4 more years of monkey-man is supremely depressing.

I often read from a book called Practicing the Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle. His 2 books should be required reading right now. It's only this guys wisdom and fix on the REAL situation that keeps me from flipping out.
