Re: Help me consctruct a home studio. SE Portland, OR. Will
Kevin Cozad (former keys with Nero's Rome) did a lot of our work at SuperDigital for us and I highly recommend him. Call Donny at SuperDigital at 228-2222 cuz I don't have his number at home. Go to Superdigital.com for details about us.

Any apologies to my pal Kelly (Arnicasync) but I'm usually a bit too wrapped up in a million other things and can't deal with handing out individual bits of info for folks building home studios! That's what Tape Op mag is for, and I'll show up here occasionally, but damn, you'd be amazed how many little questions I get all day here. No time, no time, no time....

Geez!! Thanks guys!! I thought this was a dead thread!!!
Ummm. Yes to all of the above> I think. Anyway.... Check it out!!
http://homepage.mac.com/jason.wolford/PhotoAlbum5.html
This arrives tomorrow: http://www.allen-heath.com/veterans/pro ... mc/cmc.htm
I'll post pictures when it's in place.
Note the AKG BX-20 in the upper left corner that I lugged cross country. It arived mostly intact.
Now I get to spend the next 2 months working on the new Teledubgnosis record. I got the gear and the space. No more excuses.
I recently discovered Super Digital. Great place. Rick is very friendly and nothing but helpful. Picked up my speaker stands there. What a difference they made!!
It would be good to meet some recording enthusiasts here in PDX. I started working at Macforce as soon as I got here and have not had time to meet many people. Just working and getting the studio together. How come we don't have beer nights the way NYC does? And why wern't they happneing when I was living there 6 months ago?

You may want to ask this guy to help you - he certainly knows how to stick up auralex. Our records show that the account you're attempting to connect to either does not exist or is currently inactive.

Thanks Dave, it will look even better when the new (used) board is in place. it arrived last night and the packing box took up 1/2 the damn room. I have to rethink the whole layout now.
What was I thinking buying a 32 channel board from 20 years ago?!?!
Eh, it will all work out. And look even cooler in the end.
