geesh, its amusing that anyone would even bother to give creedence to a debate between a recording engineer and the other guy. Thats kinda like reading a debate between mickey mouse and walt disney...

I think that anything they have to say on the subject is just as valid as anyone else on a public, internet message board. No more, no less.

hey, that's my new word! I'm glad others are using it.gevermil wrote:cripes
A drunk Fletcher once pushed me.
Anyway, it's funny to me how many guys get lost in the science of this recording stuff. I'll admit, I do it too. But recording is an art, too, and I really love those moments on TOMB - moments that are very, very rare on other boards - when the love of the art of recording really come through.
You really ought to hear the Black #9 cd. Then look at the engineering credits.joeysimms wrote:yeah- can anyone remind me why the fuck i should listen to fletcher? what did he do anyway? has he made a record i own? oh - that's right, he's a gear salesman. oh, ok.

heh, thats funny, I used to marginally read what fletcher posted, it wasnt until I heard some things that he recorded that I totally put him in the irrelevant file and just totally stopped bothering with him.
