Pictures of Radiohead in studio
I just came across this and thought it was really cool. A bunch of pictures of Radiohead working on their new album. Nice to be able to see some of the gear and techniques they're using. It looks like it's being updated fairly regularly.
Anyone know what the room mike on the drums and strings is? It looks sort of like a K2 or a Telefunken RFT M16 but it's neither of those.

Nifty link. The room mic pictured is a Brauner, not sure which one though. You can tell by the shockmount.
I know enough to know that I don't know what I am doing.

Just checked out the Brauner. Nice and cheap! Looks like they might be using the same one on Thom's voice.
414s for overheads on the drums, looks like a 421 over the shoulder for acoustic? can anyone make out what's on the amps? It's kind of dark.
It's cool to see the speaker on the kick. I just saw that used in a session for the first time a couple of months ago and it was amazing. I keep meaning to rip the bass driver out of an old speaker and try it out at home.
Now there's a session I would love to be a fly on the wall for.
Let us know how the 33 1/3 book is.
