I'm playing a CMW show at Lee's Palace tomorrow night.
FemBots @ 10:30 then we're rushing across town to get the rest of the band to thier other gig -

I?d been hoping to come to the show. Unfortunately I'm quite ill and couldn?t make it. Listened to a little Any Train to make up for it. I'm curious what you recorded the vocals with and what you used for reverb?

That song was recorded on the cheap in myfathers old funeral home. Tracked to a tascam 38. I think I used a 58 for the vocal with lots of tape delay and spring reverb. It's been so long since we recorded that one I can't remember too well.

anybody read the recap in the Now this week... wowsa... the sidebar on the social was sorta the nail i nthe coffin...

was this a huge disaster all round?

It's always a bit of a flop. Someday we'll wake up and realize that we don't need two festivals of this kind 4 months apart.

yeah it's a bit of a bad look

one week all the papers are hyping CMW .. big spreads on the fest... the next week its all articles on what a wash out it was.

seems like a bit of an emperors new clothes situation
