Favorite rooms with a Neve console...
I'm doing research for a side project and wanted to get some of your opinions.
What are the best recording rooms in the country that have a Neve console?
Thanks,
Rich

Check this place out: http://www.clubhouseinc.com/
They've got an 8058 MK II. It's a beautiful facility up in the Hudson Valley, which is truly a beautiful place. It's built from the ground up and actually won some kind of architecture award. Anyway, the acoustics are spectacular, the people are great and very friendly and they've got a ton of vintage Neumanns, old Fender amps, a B3, Mellotron, some great vintage drum kits... you name it.[/url]

the console/patchbay was a little funky but the "vibe" was absolutely amazing. like allaire, total seclusion and super super condusive to work. i had an amazing experience there.

I guess it may not be considered "the best", but it's about as good as I wanna get. Plus it's a TapeOpper's place (Pete Weiss).

London Bridge Studio ( www.londonbridgestudio.com ) has a great 8048, and they've done alot of cool stuff there as well.
