External CD Burner

Post by roy » Sat Jul 15, 2006 12:16 am

Howdy,

Looking for a recommendation for an external USB CD burner for my laptop. I'm not looking for the cheapest thing out there. I need something reliable, relatively quick and burns consistent CDR's. Thank you very much.

I like these INOi external burners. Not only are they a sweet 16X DVD and 48X CD burner, but it's also a 120GB hard drive and a 6-in-1 smart media reader.

You can also save a couple bucks and get the one that doesn't come with a hard drive, it's just an enclosure. Or spend a couple more bucks and get an extra forty gigs.

Does it make espresso as well?? That thing looks pretty cool, but I believe you have helped me to perhaps refine my question:

Instead of finding a quality external burner, maybe the solution is to find a quality internal burner and a USB enclosure in which to mount it? Any thoughts or ideas?
