hi! i recorded a new song somewhat recently. it's called "whiskers anthem"

whiskers anthem

it can also be heard on my myspace.

it was recorded at my apartment on an mbox, using a rode nt-1 mic, old samples of a drum we have, and many instruments that i own!

any comments on it would be appreciated! thank you!

i love it.

youre actually the first band/ project that ive listened to from tapeop.

i think that youve inspired me to do it more often.

did you mix it yourself?

i've written the song that god has longed for. the lack of the song invoked him to create a universe where one man would discover inspiration in a place that god, himself, never thought to look.

i like it a lot, a lot, a lot. i hope you don't mind, but i told the guy that co-runs the label that i'm on (also the owner of a very nice little studio in new york) to take a look, and he said he'll talk to you.

That was an adventure. Great atmosphere with just enough melody to make me want to disect all the crazy/cool stuff going on. Very nice.

This sounds really good. Thanks for posting it. Imo, a pretty original sound too - but still poppy somehow.
