Hmmm, let's see, I get an annual salary along with benefits, retirement, sick days, and a month of vacation... and I haven't had to pay out of my pocket for new gear in years.
Of course the vacation is relatively useless sinnce nothing gets done when I'm gone, and I kinda miss buying gear for myself, but it seems to work alright.
I should have negotiated for a few cute coeds every week or two, but apparently I have to pay for those out of my own pocket.

What is the most you've made on a project?
So far, the purchase of an SE Electronics Reflexion Filter on my behalf for future voiceover session time. Next one on the list is $80 for a 4-song demo for some high school kids. I put a bunch of free time on that. But that's out of three paying sessions. The rest of the stuff to date has been my own projects or bands.
