Gear you miss: stuff that you shouldn't have sold
What do you miss and why?
Me? A Universal Audio 2108. That thing really sounds good on kick and snare. I bought it as a result of Larry's review a while back. I miss it.

Oh, I miss all this shit because I like the music made on it and I remember the good times had with friends. Sure wish I could have it all.

Oktava MK-219. How I would like to send my old one to Michael Jolly to mod for me. Now I have to look for two deals on ebay when those things went for like two for $100 at GC or $40/piece on ebay a few years ago.
Alesis HD24. I sold it for my Powerbook (for remote recording), which I love and works well for me. Now everything that I record is done in Digital Performer 4.61. However, I loved the HD24. Best stand-alone digital recorder out there that's not a Mac... and not the Radar system.
Gibson Les Paul DC Special Faded. Sold it for my American Tele, which I love. However, I miss those P-90s.
Baby Taylor M. I would love to have this guitar again so that I could leave it at my girlfriend's house. I never have a guitar when I'm there.

I had an Orban 642B (black face!) stereo parametric EQ that I sold a few years ago.
Big mistake.

Great topic.. one my wife always reminds me of when I decide to sell something.. she says I always regret it later.. "Always" may not be correct, but in the beginning I made a LOT of mistakes selling things. Now I make purchases and sell things more slowly.
'67 Fender Twin, my first amp
'85 Gibson ES335, my first guitar - a solid body ES335 that they made for one year only.
'73 Gibson Howard Roberts Jazz Fusion (tobacco sunburst)
'58 or '57' Gibson ES125 with Dual P90's
'50's Hammond RT-2 with Leslie 22H
'80's Les Paul..not sure of the model
90's Takemine (sp?) acoustic, the one with a turquoise gecko around the soundhole.
Oddly enough, I miss most of those things because I sold them for too little. I think most people didn't realize this stuff was going to sell for so much years down the road.
In reality, I would probably sell them all again except the Howard Roberts Jazz Fusion guitar and the Hammond organ/Leslie. The ES335 was a pile of crap and the ES125 felt like a Mattel toy guitar. I just sold them too cheap and that's what I regret.

MXR analog delay (the big green Hulk one) - thought it was broken and sold
it as broken on eBay...buyer said it worked fine. lost about $300 on that one.
FOXX red fuzz/etc pedal - thought it was lame, turns out they are worth a lot
now. I gave it to someone, I can't even remember. another loss.
my first guitar was a black studio les paul from the 70's that I bought for like $400
and traded at a guitar show for a (at the time unknown) frankenstein Tele...
turns out that les paul was probably worth way more. and the Tele was a total
piece of crap. traded that for a 60's Mustang and traded that for my first Jazzmaster
(80's japan reissue, which I don't regret...).
