FS: Vintage Quantum 20 Channel Console RARE (updated w/Pics)
vintage mid 70s Quantum console. Rare factory joined together QM-128 + QM-8EX expander. Sounds incredible
20 inputs (mic and line)
8 buss via XLR
direct out mods (via RCAs)
1/4" TRS insert mods on busses
6 way EQ each channel
big reichenbach transformers on every channel
all channels are working, will need minor cleaning if you will be doing crucial mixing with it. Also 2 VU lights burnt out (meters themselves work great)
This console worked fine hooked up to a Digi 001 for our last CD. Excellent front end. Rivals the big boys - beefy iron sound
considering offers
I have been a longtime tape-opper with good credentials. I accept paypal
pickup in San Diego

Moogplaya!
You getting rid of your Quantum? Is your new Decibelab board that much better?
Say it isn't so! I just picked up my Quantum QM-168 with patchbay and outboard monitor mixer!
BTW, those VU lights are probably T1-3/4 midget flange base #334 types:

I should know, I just replaced 16 of them when I recapped and rechipped my Quantum!

quantum board
I have an Allen and Heath System 8, 16 ch board and I was just wondering how this compares to mine? Im really into a board with character that adds some color to the track, let me know.
