I know Emtec 911 is 456 equivalent...but is it....

I know Emtec 911 is 456 equivalent...but is it also completely bias equivalent?
I am running a Sony APR-24 and just wanna make sure i should be overbiasing the 911 the same as the 456.

Bias settings for 911 is the same as 456.

anywhere from 1 - 1.5 depending on the head gap on that machine.

1 to 1.5? Are you talking about over-bias?

At 15ips, I thought 456 should ususally be around 3.5dB overbias.

my APR-24 manual says 2db of over bias....ive seen charts online that say 3.5db and my sony tech tells me 3db. Booooooo!

Right now i am using RMG911 over biased to 3.5 and am getting decent sounds with a touch or bias rocks. Initially i had overbiased to 2db like the manual says but it seemed a little gritty so i decided to fool around with it a little more. I will adjust the over bias and update you all.
