Man, I hate to comment on stuff like this. The guy looks like he means well and is trying. but I just had to point this out from the studio:
You HAVE to read the whole thing
http://www.prosoundandvideo.com/equipment.htm
Many serious recording engineers have switched from Pro Tools to Steinberg's Nuendo. I've worked with Pro Tools for seven years now. It's hard to max out the headroom with Pro Tools because it digitally starts to whack out too easily. Pro Tools without help is so digital-sounding and
flat that if you don't know what you're doing, you can end up with a product with no depth, warmth, and it sounds flat.
Steinberg (Germans are geniuses) Nuendo is smooth and very warm right out of the box. You want that analog sound and smoothness. Add it with some of this outboard gear you are reading about and you can't lose. I can push the knobs and it gives without digital noise to an extent. Thus, the headroom is completely used with the help of compression and limiting. You've achieved that big sound you've always wanted!!
Like I said, I hate to even comment, and I'll prob regret it.....

I look forward to checking these out later, but gotta say that I was loving the band website - especially the proclamation that Warrior is "America's Rock Band".

It would be funnier if it weren't serious. "Experts" that manage to find a public forum through which to disseminate their total ignorance amongst the innocent just piss me off.
"Carderoid" mics are better than Audix mics because Audix mics are cheaper? Okey-dokey, chief!

But if you think that was good, ya gotta see the video all.http://www.iamawarrior.com/free_movie_downloads.htm
I couldn't even hear the sound, but the full blown regalia with face paint pretty much tells all.

I don't even know what he's talking about in this one:

This is why I can't get any work. I can't BS like this guy can. Damnit.

That was a verbal stumble. What he meant to say was "Hi, I'm a tad lonely".GodDamn wrote:For some reason, the phrase "Hi, I'm Tad Donely" is hilarious to me.

It wouldn't surprise me; his sentances have more "um"s in them than nouns for the most part.Caldo71 wrote:That was a verbal stumble. What he meant to say was "Hi, I'm a tad lonely".GodDamn wrote:For some reason, the phrase "Hi, I'm Tad Donely" is hilarious to me.
Youve got to be trained to... youve got to get your training... you need to be triained... to hear that little kick drum.
