Take a look at the heavy metals that go into the construction of that thing, consider how quickly your bodily fluids will displace them and how long it will take, and then think about if it really matters whether you jam the thing down your throat or up your ass. Probably not a good idea.

Having said that, I think you need to try again...

Agreed with all of the above.

Hey! C'mon. I'm not familiar with the human...anatomy.

Of course, now that I think about it...with hindsight, not the best idea ever.

So, I did it again, only this time in my mouth. It sounds pretty good. I like it a lot. Couldn't keep it in there the whole time.

Regardless, we got what we wanted and, well, I'm still stupid. STUPID LIKE A FOX.

hindsight is 20/20 vision.

I still can't believe you actually went ahead and tried this. When I read weird shit on the internet, the shock wears off after a certain amount of time, but this shocks me as much now as it did when I first read it. wow.

I just view it as trying something that ultimately will get used on a nice, pretty record.

After editing, it sounds pretty cool. We're going to use it.

ha this is funny stuff.

My bandmate did something similar to what you tried in an old band he was in. They were recording a song live and he had a cheap radio shack lavalier mic in his mouth. They recorded the song and he would open and close his mouth periodically through out the song. I still haven't heard it yet but I really really want to.

There's a non invasive way to do this. Get your hands on a fetal doppler.
The real ones are more expensive, but the cheap ones might give a fun result.

My wife's pregnant so we were considering getting one of these. We didn't do it because it seemed like it would give her a reason to freak out if she couldn't find the heartbeat.

you could just be a man and cut a hole in yourself for the mic to go in. i'm sure that's what Rollins would do.

I do have these takes. You really want them? I can post them tonight when I get back to the studio.

If you actually want to get mic into your stomach, you should send the mic up your nose to get down your throat. This will prevent you from gagging.

p.s. Don't actually do this.
