Instrument and Amp rental in LA

Post by d-bolan » Fri Dec 07, 2007 9:42 am

I've been googling like mad over here and I can find anything. Looking for a place that rents old guitars and basses, an SVT rig, etc. Any advice in the LA area?

http://www.sirla.com/

S.I.R. = studio instrument rental.

they are kinda douche bags but... Neil young recorded and rehearsed here back in the day. I had some gear nicked in their studio :cry: only to be told their security camera was not running tape. A total inside Job.

on second thought fuck these guys they are so retaded you could probably walk in and out with an SVT. seriously it's run by Bevis and Buttheads' bastard fathers. good luck.

i'm not sure this is a recomendation just a boring story...

There are a couple of other options.

Lon Cohen, in north hollywood
Paul Jameson, in Studio city

There are a couple of others, but I can't rember at the moment...

Call Lon first, that guy has an impressive collection of amps and guitars/basses.
