MBox Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how to have the sound of all programs ( gargae Band, iTunes, etc...) on my Mac come out of my MBox. How do you do it on a PC???

On a PC:

1. go to your control panel
2. click "sounds and audio devices"
3. the click the "audio" tab
4. next to "default device" select "digidesign" something or other.

I'm not sure what it is for an mbox, my mbox2 lists itself as "Digidesign Mbox 2: Chan 1-2"

why do you want to do this? Generally this is not the best idea. I'm not even 100% sure if you can use any audio programs while you're using your mbox for normal pc audio. This is because most DAW programs need a dedicated output and will not share with windows like winamp, itunes, etc. do.

Yeah, I tried it. The audio out of iTunes is just garbeled sounding. The real reason was because I was using Finale and go back and forth between that and Protools LE with MBox 2. I wanted to use the speakers I have plugged into the MBox to playback my Finale projects as well.

Is there a way? I can't seem to get the Finale audio to playback through the MBox.

This is a MIDI issue AFAIK. I can't use Sibelius at all on my recording computer through my MOTU828.
