I think what he is trying to say, is that if you add compression just right you will hit the fundamental notes and knock them down on the initial hit of the comp. Thus allowing the harmonics to come up in the mix??vvv wrote:How about this quote:

Sorta like dippin the fundamentals to allow you to raise the harmonics.
