Rockwool cuttings?

Post by kingtoad » Thu Apr 10, 2008 10:18 am

Hi, a local studio has offered to donate me a load of Rockwool cuttings left over from the gobos they've just made.

I am considering making some bass traps and a bit of ceiling absorbation with the cuttings, and I was wondering if there is any major disadvantage in using them, tightly packed, instead of a solid block of Rockwool.

Thanks, Tom xxx

A bunch of cuttings in a sack or whatever will work fine.
