Do we have until midnight or what? Also, what format do you want, mp3 or something bigger/better?

Shit. This deadline is not looking good.

Deadline met, just under the wire.

Thanks mikeyc for taking in these stray notes and giving them a home.

An extension would be tough, considering my free yousendit account expires Friday.

I'll do an initial upload of the timely participants and if you want to send a late submission, I'll post those at a later date. Fair enough?

Thanks Tatertot. I'm looking forward to seeing if anyone else makes it.

So Tatertot and I were the only ones to make the deadline. But, true to my word, here's the "comp."

If there's a demand for it, I'll post the late-comers.

I really dig the Yukon Struggle version of "Sweet Caroline." Sort of like Caroline Kennedy's Robitussin dream. Nice.

Hi there.

A great version, ampguy, but Mr. Bojangles is kind of a technicality, isn't it? I mean Neil Diamond did an entire album of covers at one point.

Oh well, I 'll put it on since you did at least meet the deadline.

Thanks for the submission.

That makes three. At least we outdid the Abbey Road Comp.

either way is ok, whatever you feel like.

Wouldn't any song not written by Neil Diamond be a technicality though?

I have heard that those "fake books" sometimes have an index with artists who recorded the song, and where multiple artists recorded the song, I wonder what criteria is used?

For example if Mr. Bojangles was in a fake book, who would the artist associated be with

Did you need me to master or tweak the mp3 file, fill in ID tags, or send you my original 2" master tapes??
