Issue 67 Mercenary/Duet ad

Post by Woodeye » Mon Sep 29, 2008 3:49 pm

Am I the only person so far to notice what the 'additional text' is saying about another product, or am I just missing earlier conversations about it?

If the latter, a moderator may please feel free to remove this topic. If the former... wow...

I, for one, am sure those blocks were just happened to be stacked up and got in the way of the photo, case closed.

having read a lot of the ranting at the mercenary site I am certain that the slamming of the mbox was totally intentional. If I am right, well played mercenary!

Slamming people and things seems to be Mr. Mercenary's style, based on his posts on That Other Board. He finally slammed the board itself, took his ball and went home.

I guess it's supposed to be some kind of manly display.

Not to brag or anything, but leaving/getting booted off The Other Board is a rite of passage and a very high honor, if I may say so.

The word bold is an understatement. My jaw dropped for a sec, and then I couldn't stop laughing. Well played, indeed!
