A pair of AT 97R boundary/omni mics. These things rule. They were like $15 each used and are made for teleconferencing. I snipped the mini plug ends off and put some xlr and they sound really great for drum room mics.

I think I may put them on a mannequin head where the ears would be for a poor man's neuman head.

Two ADC 96 point tt to punch down patchbays. Both found on ebay, one for $75 dollars then I found another for $50! Also the person selling the $50 has 6 more for that price (Item ID 350114889828). I'll post when it gets in if it's too good to be true or not....

Good Job on the ADC punchdown bays. I picked up five of the 1/4 Mil spec ones with normals out this past month. Bought some Redco Gepco install cable and wired them badboys up to my gear. They work great.

Latest stuff - and I'm REAALLY excited since I hadn't bought anything for two years:

Great River ME-1NV :D
A-Designs Pacifica
A-Designs ATTY
Pearlman TM-1 (awaiting arrival of this one)
Onyx 800r (This unit stands up the big boys, y'all)
AT4047 (I'm very happy with this on guitar - major score for $399)
ART Pro VLA II (I LIKE this piece)
Cascade Fathead II w/ Lundahls (My electric guitar and room drums sound great)
Kel HM-1 stereo pair (awaiting these - will try on OH)
Mackie HMX-56 (discontinued, but found on the 'bay)

I also learned to properly solder.

Mostly bought used or reduced...I bought things to cover the bases for full band recording in my project studio...

Just purchased SSL Alpha converters w/RME card. Much needed and much improved sound to what I was using.

'81 Hiwatt DR504 (50 watt) head. Traded a 90's 2 channel Mesa Boogie Dual Rec for it. I won out big in this trade given the value of the two amps, plus I got the Mesa for hundreds under the going value at the time. Sounds great running a nice fuzz pedal into it.

I just got a groove tube GT55. I love it. It's the first large diaghram mic i've bought. So it might not be great but i love how it sounds on my guitar amp and it's good for vocals. Very transperent sounding. but i can't sing very well so it's not getting the love it needs. But Yeah. I love it. :D
