WTB or WTBorrow: ADC punchdown tool

Post by atavacron » Wed Jan 21, 2009 3:06 pm

There's got to be someone who bought one for their install and now has one to spare. It's the ADC QB-2, preferably with the long tip, but whatever's clever. I just can't justify blowing $100 on a new one - I only have one 48-point ADC bay to wire! Shoot, I'd even pay shipping both ways just to borrow one for my studio build later this month.

Thanks for looking.

hi,

i'm not sure what you mean by references-i've never borrowed anything before via the mails, so i guess i don't have someone who will say "yes he will return it," which of course i will, on your schedule. i don't suck. i'm honest. i'm setting up a studio in my warehouse. i'm on the TOMB posting this, not gearslutz, so hopefully that says something. if i don't return it, obviously you could post about it on the board....but you'd never need to, because as i said, i don't suck.

best regards,
jonah

If it doesn't work out with ckeene, I can mail you out mine to borrow. Did you get the AKG caps?

Ah, let's see...I think the 451 bits and pieces collecting is coming to a close:

3 451 preamps, original silver ones which draw lotsa phantom i learned
2 CK1 cardioid
2 CK3 hypercardioid
2 CK22 omni
1 CK8 short shotgun
2 A51 swivels
2 -10db pads

....which I believe came to about $1600 when all was said and done.

Thanks for the offer, 'gacky. I'll keep you posted.
