No worries. Was just joking about a "studio" plumbing hazard lunatic brought to my attention and wanted to make sure you, as a recent participant with a studio build progress had been made aware of it. Nothing but respect for what you're doing sir.

Glad I could help. If you catch it now, unless there is damage to the pipe from corrosion, I believe all they need to do is clean it up, re-sweat the joint, and then clean the flux off the new joint.
Fun stuff but it'll be cheaper to fix it now instead of when water starts leaking, you don't notice it, and then you get some moldy insulation under your floor. Ewwwww...

versuviusx brought to my attention that the link doesn't work. dwell.com had totally revamped their website.kayagum wrote:If you pick up any recent issue of Dwell magazine, there are tons of ads for prefab outbuildings- it's the current craze.
Here is a blog entry that will link you with some of the better known brands:

I already claimed my basement (which is fine by my wife), and it's a little cold in MN for having an unheated outbuilding, but the prefab outbuilding/shed would be a great solution for anyone with a little backyard space.
