i'll second the sony recommendation... not only do they sound good, they will produce extremely high spl without distortion... i don't claim to have tried everything, but other headphones seem to lose their clarity at those kind of levels... i have tried those isolation phones (my drummer has some and loves them) but they just sound like crap to me.dwelle wrote:derrick, my experiences, for what they're worth:
sony 7506: my personal fave. good sounding headphones with hyped bottom end that works for me (tweaks other folks, but i like bottom in my phones). usually $100 or so. medium isolation.
