I just put the record I've been working on for the last seven years up.

www.sadironmusic.com

Recorded at Sad iron Studio, mastered by Jeff White (ipressrecord here, the progenitor of this thread). He's awesome.

Here's a thread with much more detail: http://messageboard.tapeop.com/viewtopic.php?t=69884

Links to our new album and old E.P.
The new recordings were tracked at Echo Chamber Audio (Halifax NS), mixed at home, and are now available on CD and LP.
The old E.P was tracked using a Yamaha MT4X 4-track cassette deck, you can download it as a freebie now.

Released today:

http://jdwhite.bandcamp.com/

Short EP of instrumental home recordings done between 2003 and 2006. I never intended to release these, but I've decided to clear some stuff out of the way so that I can start fresh as a proper songwriter. Decided to stay up all night mixing and mastering and doing the artwork.

Jeff
I record, mix, and master in my Philly-based home studio, the Spacement. https://linktr.ee/ipressrecord

Wow, I love that stuff. Great way to start off a rainy Saturday morning. Very nice work, my friend! Love the guitar sounds and the atmospherics. Ebow?

Joe at bandcamp here. Great thread, and thanks for the bandcamp love. I haven't listened to all of the music, but what I've heard is amazing. You guys get what bandcamp's about.

I don't read the Tape Op forums much anymore, but you can contact me/us at bandcamp via support@bandcamp.com with ideas, suggestions, etc. That's not an anonymous address to a warehouse of cubicle drones, it goes straight to me and the four other guys who make bandcamp. We read everything and love the feedback.

I have a tech site that might interest some of you: http://bandcamptech.wordpress.com. It's more about programming, but I intend to hit on some audio issues in the future. Basically bandcamp is a blast to work on and combines several loves. We're glad to be helping out the music community.

I posted this link earlier, but I'm bumping it because we now have our first full length up on our bandcamp site, and I want the whole world to know. :D

This was the first time I just let things go, sat in the background and pressed record. There is 3 vocals, 3 takes together. We think it's funny as hell, but I'm wondering if translates. (explicit lyrics, be careful).

I finally added a few new songs, set up my paypal and added some images. Glad to see all the other people who use the site, I think it's great!
Now if there was some kind of search function on the site that'd be swell. Unless there is and I'm missing something....

anyway.....link:

I love Bandcamp too and I joined sometime last year but haven't finished my project yet. In the meantime, I've been checking out your stuff on this thread and am buying a few things. Great stuff, everybody. It's very exciting to me to find new music and this thread and Bandcamp have led me to some great stuff! Thanks!
