Does the KSM141 and the KM84 work well on kick drum and vocals?

Not the Ksm141. You probably put it anywhere you would put an MK012 (ie sdc). I am glad it has other fans on here other than me!

Alice condensor gets the most use. But the one mic I have that I would use on literally anything is the Heil PR40.

A mic I could use on any source and get satisfactory results is the Shure SM58. One that is rapidly becoming my Swiss army knife of microphones is the Sennheiser MD 441-U. It has not let me down yet and if anything it has far exceeded my expectations as far sound quality is concerned. Since both mics are dynamic they do not require phantom power which is an added bonus!

Cheers,
Nicholas

Have never used either one on kick, but have used both on vocals on occasion.
