I'm thinking something digital. I dunno. Something in the sizzle of the hats. But it's a cool sound. So tell us - what did it go down on?

!!! For some reason, the MP3, played through my 3" computer speakers, sounded like it had synthesizers on it. Anyway, the non-synthesizers sound good.

I really like the sound clip. What do you call yourself? I'd love to hear it in it's completed form.

I liked the "hushed" vocal btw. Words sometimes have a tendancy to get in the way. I think you would loose impact if you altered your delivery for the sake of pronunsiation as suggested at the begining of this thread.

I wasn't suggesting an FM daytime, heavy rotation, unit-shifting, dashboard-tapping, birthday-requesting, play-list priority mix. Quite the opposite. No-one loathes the "vocal right the fuck up there in your face" tactic than me. All I said was I'd like to hear the balance reversed between the opaque, spooktacular voice, and the hidden, more conventional delivery. Which version I'd plump for after hearing them both is a moot point, of course. Nevertheless, don't run away with the idea that I'm all 'turn the damn vocals up man' about this.

So anyway - what format was used?

hmmmm.... sounds like there's too much Shin-Ei octave pedal on there :)

I'm kidding.
