replacement cable for a peluso P12

hey - i am in the greater vancouver, bc area and a tech has told me the cable is bad in my P12.

i have emails in to peluso and their canadian distributor but i am wondering if anyone knows where else can i get a replacement? or are there other brands which are interchangeable/compatible for this?

Redco does custom cables. Have them build you one.

Though, Peluso might replace it for free.

Peluso might replace it for free, but from my experience he takes a LONG time to get those replacement cables out. Not to mention at this point he's changed the cable system since the old ones broke so much (very good idea), but the change required making alterations to the bodies of the mics which means you can't really upgrade your microphone to the new standard.

I'd price out how much it would cost to get a redco built one. It might be worth it just so you don't have to wait months to have a working mic again. Then again maybe my experience was just a one off and he's totally on the ball. Free is always worth looking in to first.
