Oh man, thank you! I saw that write up the other day but I didn't catch your link on here. I really, really like the tracks on your Bandcamp a lot! Nice to meet you, Doug.

Finally done!

I have been working on this for at least a year and a half. It's my first solo record, I guess you could say. Recorded entirely at home. Make sure to skip around some as the songs are very different in style from each other and the first song is not indicative of some of the others further in.

This is my friend Dave's (from The War On Drugs, BC Camplight, Lindsay Buckingham Appreciation Society) solo project/record. Nightlands. I happen to think that it is brilliant and needs to be heard.

Though I cannot take any responsibility for how amazingly awesome this record is, I did help track two drum sessions last fall for him and lent him my 414 B/ULS for vocals. I also did the tape transfers from the 388 into Pro Tools through my Black Lion modified 828 mk2. This is why I am being thanked.

Recorded at home on a Tascam 388. Additional tracking in Pro Tools LE. Mixed at home and at Jeff Zeigler's place here in Philly.

Holy shit this record is so incredible please listen to it. 30 tracks of vocals on some songs. Seriously. He out did himself.

For fans of ELO, The Beach Boys, Early Peter Gabriel, Panda Bear, etc.

Jeff
I record, mix, and master in my Philly-based home studio, the Spacement. https://linktr.ee/ipressrecord

Here is mine.

I've just got a fairly unimpressive home studio. I love this thread, thanks for putting it up.
Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.
