PA rental needed in NYC, Thurdays 6/23-7/21

I'm looking to rent a small PA for a 'family summer concert series' taking place in a park in lower Manhattan. I'm looking for a system and cartage only-- I'll be mixing the shows. There are 5 shows, all on Thursday afternoons, starting on 6/23 and ending on 7/21. There is only one band per show, beginning a 6p and over before 8p.

I'm looking for a system with a 16-ch mixer, 2 mains, ability to do 2-4 monitor mixes over 3 or 4 wedges and all the necessary mics, DIs, stands, cables and processing. I can provide effects, dynamics and 2-ch graphic EQ to compliment a system. I don't need any staging, subs, backline or lighting.

I need a reliable person or company who can commit to all 5 shows. There is a budget, but a limited one, which is why I'm looking to the community to find a system, rather than just calling one of the big rental houses.

If you have a PA for rent, or can recommend someone who does, please hit me up.

Also forgot to mention. it should fall in with their normal rental week package.. (5 day's = 3 day's of billing if I am correct)

Thanks for the suggestion, Jeff. I know Dreamhire and have rented studio gear from them before. Like I said, the budget is low for the kind of package I'm looking for. It's right at that point where an individual who owns a PA would be happy to get the business, but not worth it for a big rental house. I called Dreamhire anyway just to see about prices, but no can do...

I've seen a few posts on Craigslist for PA rentals, but it can be hard to tell the pros from the jokers.

Spoke with Igor. Nice guy, but not the right fit (budget) for this gig. Ended up hiring Vinny's Music Service http://www.vinnysmusic.com/ for the series. Had the first show yesterday, everything went great. Thanks again for the recommendation and passing on your guy's info.

Vinny is the best he used to come round my place in his van and cart my band's stuff to CBGB's and back way back in the day. Great guy. We were in a band together for a while...

yes I agree.. one of the best cartidge <sp> guy's in the NYC area. if u had gear to move he's one of the top three companies to call. 1. SIR, 2. Vinny 3. Rockit Cargo..
