So I want to upgrade to Pro Tools 9 but I need an iLok so I went to the site and started to order one as well as a Dongle Buddy, shipping is $26? That seems OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Is there anyway to get around this? Do I have to buy my iLok there?

Can't you get one through Guitar Center or any other major audio outlet? I seem to recall PT 6.9 coming with a dongle, and when I upgraded to 9 I had the choice of downloading the upgrade or buying a boxed upgrade with a dongle? This was through Sweetwater...

When I got PT9, I bought my iLok on Ebay for under $20 shipped. I think there's still a bunch up there, they're red...
