If I'm remembering correctly the PM2000 runs on +/-24v. If you threw a API 2520 in there you'd have a piece of toast :) Plenty of other opamps will run at those voltages though, including some versions of the John Hardy.
On a side note I have a 32 channel PM1000 desk sitting in a garage in philly about half filled with channels if anybody wants to nab it cheap. I guess I'll post it over in the for sale section...

Correct. The PM2000 is +/- 24V DC. Unless, I am mistaken, the 2520 supply voltage needs to be between +/12 and +/- 20 V DC.
As you stated, there are API 2520 replacements that can run at +/- 24V DC, which should work in the PM2000.

REALLY GREAT info guys. Anyone else care to chime in on some of the differences between these two units?
