Request: Cover for #88 Mar/April 2012...

Post by TimOBrien » Tue Mar 20, 2012 6:18 pm

Guys, is there ANY way to get a jpeg of the artwork used for the bunny cover for issue #88??

My wife is a serious rabbit fan (we had one a few years ago) and it would score me major points if I could print that out and hang it in my studio....

I thought maybe your copy got as well saturated in the rain as mine did.... :?

It is indeed a nice cover (outside of the wrinkles)...my wife even made a comment about it.

Well I'd just run it through the scanner but it is a bit rough from the mail and the mailing label is over part of it.

Hmmm....

We're talking to Kim who did that. It's pretty cool.

This graphic needs to be a poster we can all purchase and hang in our studios YESTERDAY.

Also, shut up and take my money.

My favorite is the "compression" bunny.

So genius.

I personally giggled at the Lo-Fi bunny after recalling Larry's reply to a letter a few issues back regarding "the Lo-Fi trend"

The existence of "low fidelity" music is fine and the world will always feature some of that. The adopting of low fidelity as a "style" of music sounds like a coward hiding their ineptness and lack of inspiration behind a stupid genre named by lazy journalists. Fuck that.

Yes, this is a most awesome cover.

I would buy a poster of this and hang it in my studio. Not too big, but like 11x14...

Everybody's gotta rebel against something. I guess if all you have to rebel against is good sounding recordings, well then you're probably not doing too bad, eh?
My favorite banksy quote applies here I think- "why is it every artist is prepared to suffer for their art, but few are prepared to learn to draw?"

Wow. Great minds think alike. How can I buy (with real live MONEY) a poster of this cover? My wife loves it as well, and my musician friends think it's hilarious.

I agree with all above me and second the request for a poster, as little as my noobish opinion counts.

(Also, I didn't know that Cthulhu was on TOMB! How's R'lyeh?)

BOOORING!! That's why we need some cool new posters down here. Shub-Niggurath has covered the fridge and bedroom walls with pics of all the little goats, Nyarlathotep is always dropping by (usually at dinnertime) and ends up either hogging the internet connection trying to win new instruments on eBay or he keeps us up all night jamming. On top of all that, the dehumidifier broke down last week and the posters of Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black we have in the Lower Chamber of Soul-Eating Terror got all moldy and now the place smells like a wet dog.

How goes things with you? Still have those drunk knights stumbling around your wonderfully arid peaks?
