Pre into a pre?

Hey all, i've just recently purchased a sytek mpx4a and a bla auteur.
Problem is, i only have 4 analog ins on my 002. I run an ada8000 into the optical ins. Just wondering how I should bring those extra two channels into the machine. I mean, it appears there's no avoiding bringing a nicer pre through one of my cheaper ones. Any advice?

Although channels 1-4 hit the preamp, they work ok as line ins if the 002 preamp gain is kept low. Probably wouldn't sound drastically different than 5-8.
