Protools 9 Upgrade

Post by wedge » Fri Jun 22, 2012 8:22 pm

Is it possible to officially upgrade from PTs 8 to 9 anymore? I went on the Avid website and all I see is 10, 10, 10...

It's not very common for a company to allow you to "upgrade" to a previous product.

Go with 10. It is more stable, and has great features.

a friend of mine got a boxed version of the PT9 upgrade on eBay a couple months ago and it still worked - but Avid doesn't offer that upgrade anymore. everything is about 10 now and in a few minutes it will be 11 and then 12...
