Sad bastard pop songs, DADDAD tuning

Post by cale w » Fri Jan 11, 2013 10:12 pm

So I had some free time when my old band went on hiatus, followed by my girlfriend and I having a lousy parting of ways. I wrote an albums worth of songs mostly based around an acoustic guitar in DADDAD tuning. Check it out if you like!

Hey man,

Really digging this set. Your melodies are catchy, lyrics intriguing. You've done a really nice job creating a wide variety of textures. Recording sounds really nice!

Reminds me a little of Soul Coughing, but more melodic and a little less weird :)

Keep it up!

Adam.

agershon: I was pretty much mainlining Soul Coughing/Mike Doughty when all these songs came together. I aim for Soul Coughing production combined with Paul Simon songwriting. So I guess that accounts for the the more melodic/less weird aspect. Thanks for checking it out!
