FS: SoundWorkshop 34C 32ch with add'l 16ch returns section
We've been rocking this console in B for a minute now, but we are planning a huge upgrade to Studio A in the console dept, and so our much loved Auditronics 501 will be moving to B and displacing the SoundWorkshop.
It is a great sounding, easy to use inline console. We had the master section recapped and rechipped by Dan Zellman in the spring, and the desk really sounds great. Freelancers have loved working on it and I've mixed two film scores and a bunch of records on it. Quiet, clean, flexible EQ. It's got 32 channels, all of which have had the (shitty) VCA fader/automation replaced with P&G's... the faders alone probably cost what we're selling it for... there is a cool little 16x2 returns section in the meterbridge... i can't find the patch points for it, but it probably works... 32 channels was enough for us in the B room, so we never bothered tracking it down.
We're asking what we've got into it: $2500.
All I/O is via AMP connectors. They suck, but not as much as Molex's... There's a bunch of cable that came with the desk, and we will throw in all the AMP connectors and pins that we got to install it. We can work out some sort of reasonable install tech rate, too, if you don't want to do it alone.

I worked extensively on one of these in the 90's. They are really very nice, clean sounding consoles. The EQ is more than usable... I actually liked it a lot. The patchbay was the weak point, (as were the switches on the model 54 that supplanted it in the SW line) but at this price point, it's a deal. It actually replaced an Auditronics at the studio I worked at.
I'm not associated with this in any way... but having put several thousand hours in on a 34, I figure it's worth mentioning. Best of luck with the sale...

you may want to take a head on picture with someone standing next to it to show the dimensions..this may help you to sell it.
