Hi all...
I have one of the earliest Hohner Clavinets made, the Clavinet I, in it's original case...
Everything is there, including the legs...
(EDIT: the music stand is missing)...
The on-board amp is not working, but the 1/4" output works just fine...
Great condition for a 50-year-old instrument, and I've never seen one with it's original case intact...
It needs new hammers, strings, and yarn...
I do not want to ship this (it's stupid heavy), so will deliver in the SoCal area.
It currently resides in Irvine CA.
I am down here every 3 months or so, so we'll have to work around the times that I am here...
My plan is to restore this on my next trip down here, and put a 2K pricetag on it...
As it sits right now, I'm asking 1.5K...
New hammers, strings, and yarn run about 125.00.
This wants to be parked in a studio and used...
I already have one at my studio in WA state, or else I'd be lugging this home...
OK, thanks all...
Bruce
