Very interesting stuff. Kind of reminds me of Califone and Idyll Swords, but definitely you're own thing. What's your recording set-up?

Glad to hear other people doing wierd sounds in Arizona.

the house we rent south of phoenix has another house next to it which is kind of ruined. I've been recording over there and gradually improving it with pieces of plywood and so forth.

mostly usual suspects for recording I think. a lot of time spent fixing things that I could have avoided by just doing them right in the first place... I rerecorded several of the vocals with an SM 58 at one point.

several of the songs are built by overdubbing on a guitar improvisation which provides the structure.
