Hafler P-3000 Amp Repair?

Hello..My Hafler P-3000 took a nose dive on me. :cry: ..Anyone here worked on/repair these Hafler amps? If so, would you give me a PM if you may be interested in taking a look at mine.Thanks.!

Well, what's it worth to you?

Round trip shipping and a couple hours on a tech's bench would probably buy you a functional amp...assuming that the fault is easy to find, and replacement parts aren't unavailable.

If it's not easy to find the fault, or you have to go to brokers to get the parts, it might buy you a Bryston...

Yeah. I've 'bout come to this same conclusion.. :( ..Probably just look for another amp or get powered monitors..Anyone wanna buy some NS-10s in good shape.? :lol:

Look around for an Adcom GFA-545...usually $100/$150 and are a good match for NS-10's
Still waiting for a Luna reunion

Hey Sean.Thanks for the tip. BtW, can these Adcoms be had with balanced inputs..?

It depends on the cost of repair. The Hafler P3000 is a very good amp and is a robust build. I've had two of them repaired over the years here in Portland at a local shop. One of them needed a new power amp transistor. The other needed a replacement with. Each repair was about $50. No shipping charges.

Look for a local tech familiar with Haflers. There are plenty of NOS parts still around for the Hafler P Series.
