amp stand

Post by Flight Feathers » Thu Nov 12, 2015 8:48 am

Not exactly gear, but DIY. I made a pair of these amp stands for a new room we working on. Materials are a $20 Home Depot moving dolly and 2 2x4's. The whole thing cost under $30 and takes about an hour to make.

It is basically one size fits all, up to 26" wide, and has storage for a pedal board underneath.

Those dollies are the best; I use one under my 15" bass cab and HRDX, much better than mounted wheels as the dollies are multi-use, indestructible, and you just take the cab off it and the cab doesn't roll.

Very nice. I'd love to see one of those with the amp removed to see more of the construction.

Nice build! Amps sound so much better when they aren't sitting on the floor.

It's like some totally crap playing overwhelmed the Vibro's input jack.

Yes, will do the next time I'm in there.

That there is a vintage beer spill stain. That's worth good money now.
