Getting close
More dry wall going up.
In the early morning hours... when the house was cold, the attic was actually still pretty cozy. Great suggestion on the Spray Foam

Fresh Air ??
Good question ??The attic already had ducts for Central Air (thankfully). In the above picture, you can barely see the little port cut into the wall just short of the brick chimney. (low on the wall, behind the blue cloth & circular saw) Also... my stairwell to the downstairs is an open passageway. I'm not gonna have isolation from the rest of my house. It's just me here, so there's not gonna be much household noise to worry about. But the outside world won't bother me too much & I won't be a bad neighbor. Those two things were my main goals in this project. It's not a commercial facility, so I just wanted to make it a 'purty-good' room to work in.Snarl 12/8 wrote:How are you getting fresh air in there while retaining isolation? (Hopefully that's not covered in the thread somewhere I missed. I've been following this, but didn't reread before posting.)
Here's the last little bit of wall that we have yet to put up. It looks like I'll be painting in early December & putting up the baseboards & window trim before the end of the year.
